In the early nineties, The Broadcast Pioneers of Philadelphia, now an independent entity, was part of the national organization of Broadcast Pioneers, which disbanded in 1996. The nationwide group had an oral history project and our chapter participated. We recorded audio interviews with some of our members. While copies went to the national organization, we retained the original masters and a first generation dub.

One person we interviewed was Broadcast Pioneers member Bob Jawer. Former Broadcast Pioneers President Marguerite Farley did the interviews and the one with Bob was recorded on Wednesday, September 5, 1991.

On this particular interview, the voice of Marguerite Farley is slightly distorted. It is that way on the master and the dub. We have cleaned it and the distortion is less, but still present. There is nothing more we can do at the present time.

For the first time in 13 years, this interview is now available in both Real Audio and Windows Media Formats. It was remastered on Sunday, December 22, 2013.
